Why climate action?
The importance of climate action:
Climate change is a dire threat that our Earth is already experiencing through rising temperatures, longer fire seasons, biodiversity loss, famine, crop failure, ocean acidification, droughts, sea levels rising, and more. The effects of climate change will be felt by everyone, but will impact the communities that have contributed the least the very most.

A $6 billion USD invest in risk reduction would save the US over $360 billion over the next 15 years.

The climate crisis will effect more than money, it will effect billions of lives. To mitigate the warming and the effects of climate change, drastic and urgent change needs to be made worldwide, including in the Wood River Valley.

The CACWRV aims to address climate change through climate action and education. Check out the remainder of the 'Take Action' tab, as well as the 'CAT' tab to learn more.
